All along this route, keep upgrading your skills patiently, eventually you'll get the ones you really use maxed to 10, and can level the others for synergy bonuses and completeness' sake. You want to max your crafting to 50 ASAP.įifth priority: Now that you can make best use of crafting and have your recipes unlocked, you can work on making Legendary versions of your gear, to push for higher Trials and keep salvaging, gaining Champ Levels, etc. This is gonna take time and money to do, but farm for gold and you'll manage it, alongside getting those craft recipes. Keep farming there (preferably with a 200% XP booster when possible) to push your Champion Levels up too.įourth priority: Start pushing your crafting level up, using that gold to stamp out shit-tons of low-level cheap greens. Third priority: Get yourself a decent epic set of gear made, it'll be good enough to start pushing you up further into the trials, you shouldn't have much trouble reaching 80 or 90. To make gold, farm a mission like 47 (Morgenheim) over and over with as much +gold gear as you can find or craft on Normal difficulty, preferably while using a 200% item booster. To do this you'll need to spend gold or gems (or glory for things like trinkets and belts). Second priority: Work on unlocking gear recipes. Reason being these will unlock all the daily quests for you and allow you to farm 100 Gems/day from the 5 available quests. Ultimately, you don't even really need to salvage rares, just do epic and legendary stuff, but up to you.Ĥ) First priority: Do all the side quests that unlock after beating Normal. Then you can stop bothering with grey and green stuff and just salvage rare and above. Starting out, salvage everything until you have shit-tons of low-level mats. You can save up and spend gems on crates with MoT or other high-end crafts to help you out (waiting until you can buy the 2500 Gem one is not a bad idea). Farming Trials is a good way to get there, but it can be tough to get enough to make any decent gear. Use Charge, Leap and Whirlwind as skills.ģ) MoT salvage from set and unique items that drop. Beyond that, it depends what you need.Ģ) Bladestorm Arms with 6pc Fury work pretty well, at higher TLs 4pc Warlord with 2 pc Fury is preferred, but earlier on that'll work fine. Thanks in advanced! If you have any other newbie tips I appreciate that too.ġ) Get all your ability slots (active and passive) unlocked. It's not effective but it's the only way I can actually hit them. In PVP mages and BH always just outrun me, so I end up equipping a shield and using shield block and deadly throw. I made it to trial 53 but can't get further because I run out of time (my damage is too low). What should I be focused on right now? Beating the game on heroic? Farming trials? I can really only farm 元5 effectively and it still takes me 3mins. I beat the game on normal and have started on heroic. Should I be salvaging all the items I get that I don't need? Can I get mark of the titans that way? My abilities are whirlwind and devastate. I always select the items which give the most damage so I'm not sure where I'm going wrong. My armor is just a 6 piece epic battlemaster set because I don't have any crafting recipes yet and even if I did I don't have enough mark of the titan to craft fury armor. Epic viscera and legendary sanguinarus, both L70. Im at 68k dmg, 710k toughness, 84k recovery. Should I unlock the 3rd? Or a 2nd passive? Or something else? I think the only thing I spent was unlocking the 2nd ability. What is the best thing to spend gems on? I haven't spent really any yet. I'm playing with a Warrior, L128 champion. I did some searching around on here but a lot of the stuff is going way over my head. Hi all, I just started playing last week.
